Inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski's beloved novels and CD PROJEKT RED's acclaimed video games, I've crafted a title sequence concept for Netflix's upcoming The Witcher series.
Through the process of drawing inspiration from the icy Wild Hunt and the spark of the eternal fire, and under the influence of the Westworld and Black Sails main title, it's ended more in a marble looks-style, where our heroes stand as frozen statues, their stories etched in stone in a frozen world.
The accompanying style frames showcase my research into aesthetics and character design, featuring a dream cast and crew that would have bring the world of The Witcher to life.
